The EconoBead filter is your best answer for adding
more filtration to your pond on a budget. The
EconoBead is a small, fully upgradeable bead filter
developed for smaller ponds.

Available in three sizes to meet specific pond
requirements, the EconoBead filter is designed around
basic concepts of the Hydrabead^® filter, minus some of
the more advanced features.

The EconoBead filter uses smaller beads than some
other bead filters (500-550 sq. ft. per cu. ft.) giving it a
greater surface area per cubic foot. This results in a
highly efficient filter with superior polishing ability.

The tank of the EconoBead filter is easily opened,
allowing unparalleled access to internals and bead pack.

Fluidart^® recommends a blower and multiport valve on
any bead filter. However, if the owner is willing to take
some time with maintenance of the filter, there are
significant dollars to be saved. Upgrading is optional at
a later time.
